Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement Duties:
- identifying and implementing operational process improvements and efficiencies inside all departments, that will help in aligning company goals with work performed by employees and help drive innovation.
- work with head of departments to develop long-term and short-term strategic opportunities to create greater efficiencies in processes, systems and resource optimization.
- Develop, implement, update, and maintain continuous improvement inside departments including Execution and Improvement Methodologies (e.g. Lean, LSW etc.)
- Recommend and clarify priorities and coordinate cross-organizational integrations where common needs have been identified.
Project Management Duties:
- Design project plans, estimating how many staff members will be needed to complete projects and outlining the materials needed to bring proposed projects to completion.
- Analyze project schedules before, during, and after they are carried out.
- Create verbal and written reports for upper management and executives, briefing them on whether projects are meeting their schedules and deadlines.
- Distribute the information related to the project and inform the project team members and stakeholders about project progress.
- Supervise staff progress on implementing projects.
- Responsible for resolving, determining and handling the risks and problems that may arise during the working of the project.
- Examines the progress of the work and maintains the plans of the project so as to make sure that the results obtained are as per the standards of the project.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Assist in Performing data gathering, root cause analysis in order to develop appropriate process improvement actions.
- Train and guide resources as needed in Lean Methodology.
- Assist in Updating and maintaining documentation on process improvements and process performance.
- Facilitate the implementation of QRM (Quick Response Management system) and monitor their outcomes.
- Assist in Following-Up with MR (Management Routine) and the resulted actions which affect both Work and Safety Standard.
- Assist in Verifying the Implemented Kaizen cards and analysis their affect whether on Cost, Performance & Safety.
- Assist in Following-Up with LEAN Auditing inside Terminal and ensure the sustainability of the implemented Kaizen Cards.
- Assist in the Cost Saving Base calculation of the implemented Kaizen Cards and verifying them with Finance Team.
- Assist in Following-Up with Front-Line Kaizen Card creation for their PMS and send the progress percentage on a weekly basis.
- Assist in Approving Kaizen cards through Ilean system and verify them with the department champion.
- Assist in the first filtration process for the Lean Rewarding.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any Business-related field.
- 3+ years’ experience of Lean/ Six sigma and process improvement.
- 3+ years’ experience of Project/Program management in small- and large-scale projects using traditional and agile methodologies.
- Certified PMP and Scrum Master.
- Experience in delivering structured training courses and coaching individuals through change to deliver improvements.
Previous Experience:
3+ years’ experience in Lean and Project Management with exposure to multinational environment
Skills:
- Proficient in Using Microsoft Office specially Excel.
- Proficient in using Ms. Project.
- Familiar with Ms. Visio
