Eram Talent is currently seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our client, a leading company in the Oil & Energy industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical equipment and machinery is inspected and complies with relevant codes and regulations.Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular and thorough inspections of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
- Monitor and assess the reliability and safety of equipment and machinery, troubleshooting any problems as they arise
- Utilize a range of tools and inspection techniques to identify any defects or malfunctions
- Create detailed reports of inspections and findings, providing recommendations for any necessary repairs or replacements
- Communicate effectively with other members of the team regarding any issues or concerns with equipment or machinery
- Keep records and documentation up to date and accurate
- Ensure that all inspections and maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical inspection
- Relevant certification or training in mechanical inspection
- Strong knowledge and understanding of codes and regulations related to mechanical equipment and machinery in the Oil & Energy industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with regards to work schedule and availability for travel when required
