We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced food and beverage manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the FNB outlets, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality. Oversee the operations of the Food and Beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service and banqueting areas. Ensure that the team follows the standard operating procedures and provides exceptional customer service. Train and develop the Food and Beverage team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform roles effectively. Ensure that costs are monitored and controlled, including inventory management, waste reduction, and the efficient utilization of resources. Respond to guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and improve guest satisfaction. Prepare and analyze sales reports, financial statements, and other reports to identify areas for improvement implement corrective actions. Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and kitchen, to ensure seamless operations and a positive guest experience. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new concepts, incorporating them into the Food and Beverage outlets to enhance the guest experience.
Candidate Requirements & Skills:
· Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role in a reputable hotel or hospitality establishment.
· Detailed knowledge of food and beverage operations, including fine dining, banquets, room service, restaurants, club and bars.
· Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills with guests and colleagues.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong organizational and time management skills and able to meet the deadlines.
· Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
· Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as per business needs.
· Knowledge of health and safety and practices in the food and beverage industry.
· Knowledge of billing system software, excel, PowerPoint, presentations.
· Abilities to train, manage and retain the team.
· Knowledge of inventory management and ability to control costs minimize waste
