About the role

To help us achieve our bold growth initiatives, we are eagerly in search of a Territory Manager for Urology (Endo) for the Nordics with a background in healthcare to join our Sales team in Nordics.

In this position you will be responsible for the growth of the sales for our Endourology portfolio in the region with main focus on Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

BD has a wide range of high-quality products within the Endourology segment (e.g. stents, baskets, etc.) that the Territory Manager for Urology (Endo) will be responsible for growing in the region, and also secure successful launch of the new innovative products that are in the pipeline.

The Territory Manager works independently but remains a key member of the Nordic team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager for Urology & Critical Care (UCC) Nordics, the Territory Manager for Urology (Endo) will be responsible for the sales to and development of new and existing customers.

In addition, the Territory Manager will provide training, technical and clinical support to the sales team and customers.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Build successful and trusting relationships with customers and stakeholders in the urology departments within the Endo specialty (in public and private hospitals in the region).
  • Travel 70 % of you time for customer visits, workshops and conferences.
  • Participate and conduct product training during urology procedures in the Operating Rooms.
  • Manage and drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to after-sale support and Tender processes.
  • Analyze, develop and grow your region to increase our market share with BD’s Endo Portfolio.
  • Secure product launches in the region.
  • Maintain a professional and innovative image of BD with customers, competitors, and colleagues.

About you

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of sales or clinical experience within Endourology.
  • Strong network within Endourology in the region (especially in Sweden).
  • Prior medical experience, education in the field of nursing (e.g. urology nurse).
  • Healthcare knowledge, including expertise in diseases, treatments and medical procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Consultative/solution selling skills/experience (or demonstrable, transferable abilities).
  • Hardworking, positive, enthusiastic and demonstrate a successful record in sales in medical device which will include the experience in implementation and launches of new products.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to drive for new business whilst maintaining excellent customer relations within established accounts.
  • Able to demonstrate effective territory and time management skills to efficiently manage administrative and customer facing responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to form lasting customer relationships across a broad section of healthcare professionals and their management and recognize their level of influence as a decision maker.
  • Able to demonstrate / experience of negotiating with all levels of the hospital landscape with different stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare markets of in the Nordics, including competitive activity and trends and also tender management.
  • Ability to lead/manage various products/projects.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and business practices.
  • Business fluent in Swedish (and ideally more Nordic languages) as well as very good written and spoken English skills.
  • High willingness to travel 70% of the time (overnight stays of several days in the Nordic countries and abroad)
  • Good communication and presentation skills, and professional manners.
  • Good computer skills (MS-Office etc.). Provide accurate territory reports to include robust forecasting and progression of sales opportunities using CRM systems.
  • The successful candidate must live on territory and be comfortable with a field-based role.
