As a Production Machine Operator, you will run primary/secondary packaging machine to fulfil the daily production target by complying with safety and quality standards as well as GPS.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Safety:
- Ensure, no incident and accident in respective shift / area.
- Raise ZAPS as per set target and lead team members in raising and closing ZAPs to promote safe work area.
- Apply LOTO procedure is applied during changeover, cleaning & machine maintenance respective line / area.
- Ensure all machine interlocks are in working condition and inspection has been performed on daily basis.
- Ensure all EHS controls are in place and in use every time. Adhere to all EHS Procedures.
- Participate in EHS Risk assessment process.
- Lead and coordinate Stop for Safety Sessions in respective shift / area.
Quality:
- Complete all GMP documents (BPRs, ELBs, cleaning records, calibration, verification records) are filled/ on real time following ALCOA principle.
- Comply with DI requirements while handling documents to avoid documentation error.
- Start the batch as RFT in respective shift / area.
- Perform the reconciliation after batch completion in real time in the respective shift / area.
- Perform the SAP system for all transaction on time.
- Perform all required validation qualification in respective shift / area as per relevant PQP.
- Report to any abnormalities/adverse event to FLL (Rapid Response, deviation) in a timely manner.
- Complete self-trainings (OJTs & eLearning’s) on time.
Performance:
- Responsible to achieve daily output as per production plan
- Responsible to manage contractors staff and their punctuality as per resource plan for respective line / area
- Complete batch documents including reconciliation on real time once batch is finished.
- Achieve the productivity as per OEE requirement and target.
- Perform TAP1 meeting and ensure all KPIs are updated in each shift.
- Update and maintain 5S and PM.
- Perform the changeover, facilities and look for opportunities to do quick changeover.
- Use OEE tool kit. (for manual lines, maintain the hourly output)
- Proper Handover/Takeover at the beginning and end of each shift according to the procedure.
- Complete assigned training on time via my learning.
- Able to perform changeovers to different products on multiple equipment such as labeler, cartoner and case packers.
- Must have ability to perform troubleshooting on packaging lines for mechanical and electrical issues.

- Diploma of science or engineering with minimum 3 years’ experience in machine operation.
- Written and spoken English, working knowledge of Arabic.
- Experience in production, understanding of the roles of staff, equipment and systems.
- Basic knowledge of GMP.
- Basic knowledge of EHS.
- Basic Computer skills (Microsoft office).

- Complete machine, line and batch records satisfactorily.
- Overtime and extended shifts most of the time is required.

- Secondary Packaging Machine operation and packing (including documenting machine operation and packing) only.
- BNRFT is kept on none and avoided all the times.
- Avoid LTAs by using the right techniques e.g. manual handling.
- Accountable for individually identified risks and escalate to the line manager, where applicable develop risk mitigation plan and monitor the implementation plan.
