As EPDM Water treatment your main responsibility is to support the business growth in the Water Treatment Essentials (WTE) range through your technical expertise and commercial affinity. The core product ranges you are expected to support and promote in this remit are Coagulants, Flocculants, Antifoams, Bioaugmentation (microorganisms), Activated Carbon, Ion Exchange resins, Membranes, Lime, Recreational water (swimming pools)
You will be a key driver and stakeholder in constructing and executing our strategic plans to grow the business in water treatment whilst working together with other Commercial leaders in our European chemical business to become a market leader in water treatment applications.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Accountable for delivery of the Water Treatment Essentials Horizontal AOP in terms of sales, volumes & GP
- Assisting customers in selecting the right products for their applications through laboratory testing, on site visits and video meetings
- Building & driving the execution of our Pipeline to deliver new business growth in Water Treatment applications
- Supporting the development of the current supplier & product portfolio already in place to deliver our commitments with a credible plan
- Expanding our supplier and sales execution network by actively pitching the value of Univar Solutions to new partners
- Enlarging the Water treatment solutions product portfolio
- Travelling across Europe to support projects and business reviews
- Create & deliver technical trainings on key ranges & applications
- Creating product specific writings to support Water treatment marketing activities
We we are looking for
- Fluent in English and a very good knowledge of French
- Willing to travel across Europe (up to 40%) to support projects and business reviews
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Bio-engineering, Environmental science or any other related field is a must
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in water treatment industry
This position can be based anywhere in the Benelux area.
