Your Job
The HRD of Israel reports to the Vice President HR EMEA and is responsible for supporting the consumer and professional business within Israel form an HR perspective. The HRD will direct the development of strategic people plans to support the Israel business that are aligned with the global and EMEA people plans and then ensure the detailed execution of those plans to attain or exceed business unit objectives, including growth targets for operating profit, net sales and market share.

The business they support has an NSV US$400MM, OP US$30MM+ with approximately 1,000 employees across multiple sites.
You will be partnering closely with MD and Leadership team of the Israel business to align people plans with the strategic direction and needs of the business. Working across the K-C matrix, you will partner with regional Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards and Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
You will be a key contributor on the EMEA HR Leadership Team, representing Israel and leading projects where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the long-term people vision aligned to Israel business and EMEA people objectives, whilst delivering near term results.
- Lead the industrial relations agenda to ensure business continuity and the ongoing motivation, engagement and development of all employees across the four manufacturing and logistics sites Hadera, Afula, Nahariya, Gilboa as well as corporate offices.
- Proactively identify and action capability and culture initiatives across Israel.
- Partner with EMEA and Global CoEs (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Reward and DE&I) to design and deliver programs to support the articulated people plan and local business objectives.
- Ensure local execution of global execution including, but not limited to, Talent Review Processes, Succession Planning, Performance Management cycles, myVoice (engagement) surveys and action planning.
- Work closely with the IL Leadership Teams to ensure the health and robustness of succession pipelines for critical and core roles.
- Support the IL Leadership Team to create a healthy, performance driven culture that supports and leverages the power of the K-C matrix around the region and the globe.
- Support critical footprint changes to drive efficiency to support business results.
- Develop and implement policies and processes that attract and secure talent with a passion to serve our customers and consumers therefore ensuring we have the right talent to meet our future business needs, with the right mix of grow, buy and borrow for talent to strengthen our organizational capability.
- Lead the performance and development of the local HR team to grow their careers and ensure continuity of HR succession in Israel.
- Personally lead regional / global projects or workstreams as required.
- Influence the Regional and Global HR agenda, through the EMEA HR leadership team, to deliver solutions that support the needs of the local business.

About You
You’re driven to perform at the highest level possible, and you appreciate a performance culture fueled by authentic caring. You have extensive HR Partnering experience, ideally in multi geographies/locations. You also have labour relations management experience, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a successful track record of partnering with executives and delivering superior business results. You have a deep understanding of the business, external environment, customers and financial levers to deliver the right solutions from a people perspective as an integral part of the local people plans.
You also have:
- Extensive experience in senior HR positions
- Former experience in a leading HR business partner role, preferably already been Head of the function
- Hands on experience and proven track record in labour relations
- Prior in international corporate organization
- Degree in Human Resources or Business.
- Excellent written and verbal English capability
- Excellent executive presence and influencing skills
