Customer Service Specialist

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for answering all questions and inquiries about benefits offered with accuracy and high quality customer service. They also provide direction to customers via phone calls & email to personalize the customer’s experience.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting all customers by answering questions, solving problems, and educating them on provided services via inbound phone calls (30 - 50 per day).

Utilize up to 10 - 15 systems at once, often multi-tasking with multiple systems during each phone call

Handle all inquiries professionally, courteously and with accuracy.

Answer and return inquiries in a timely manner.

Clearly communicate answers and solutions to the customer.

Educate customers on other alternatives or features not already considered.

Respond to email inquiries with accuracy utilizing appropriate verbiage, grammar, and spelling.

Researches/investigates all inquiries utilizing reference materials.

Understands and applies confidentiality guidelines.

Meets or exceeds customer service standards and goals.

Is knowledgeable about the products offered and actively participates in departmental training and continued education.

Provide informal or formal training for additional team members when needed.

Displays advanced knowledge of IRS regulations governing all products.

Actively assist other departments when additional help is needed.
Qualifications:
-
Telephone inquiry experience or ability to handle a constant flow/queue of incoming calls.

Customer service and benefits experience typically acquired in 6 months to 2 years.

Computer proficiency required.

Must have excellent customer service skills.
-
Bilingual Spanish/English language skills are a plus.
Position Requirements:

Must have a private work space.

Ability to connect to a physical router via ethernet cable (hardwire).

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
