Statkraft is a leading company in hydropower internationally and Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy and represents as Norwegian state-owned company the largest power generation portfolio in Norway. The Group produces hydropower, wind power, solar power, greener grid parks and supplies district heating. Statkraft is a global company in energy market operations.
The slogan of Statkraft Group Procurement is One Procurement and is organized as a Business Partner role delivering strategic, tactical and operational procurement services to our customers. The department as a whole is responsible for the execution of procurement in large projects and category management in OPEX and CAPEX, as well as being responsible for procurement governance, processes and systems.
The Procurement Nordic team are seeking a competent, proactive, and committed fast learner to take on the role as a Junior Sourcing Manager in our newly established Sourcing team serving and supporting the assets in Norway.
The Sourcing Manager runs sourcing processes within the line organization and is a specialist in tendering, contract negotiations and contract management. Further, they ensures that products and services are sourced at competitive total cost and that processes are run in a compliant and efficient manner.
As a Junior Sourcing Manager working in Procurement Nordics you will:
- Take responsibility for delivering value through procurement in Norway.
- Develop sourcing plans to meet internal customer requirements.
- Manage and execute the procurement process for contracts including invitation to tender, clarifications, negotiations, evaluation, contract finalising and contract award.
- Run and support regional P2P activities
- Identify areas of repeat spend and establishing Framework Agreements.
- Monitor and follow-up of suppliers.
- Analyse procurement spend, supply base and buying behaviour.
- Support the asset in operation in Norway.
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes.
- Support Project Procurement Managers and other Sourcing managers as required.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Junior Soucring Manager in Procurment Nordics, we believe you have:
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in relevant discipline area or documented experience in the field.
- Excellent IT skills (experience with SAP is an advantage).
- Early working experiences in a procurement team are advantageous.
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to successfully work , train and support multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proactive mindset and a quick learner.
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
