As a Supply Chain & Materials Manager you will plan and organize the supply chain materials planning activities and resources to further improve material flow and logistics, quality, productivity and efficiency. Your tool will be Oracle E-Business Suite and you will use the system to maximize the effectiveness of the Factory workflows and processes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the purchasing, warehouse, logistics and Order Management functions for our factory.
- Create, implement, and refresh the functional strategic plan and implement appropriate programs to address evolving business requirements or issues, collaborating with Group and other divisions, regions, carriers, freight forwarders and other supply chain partners.
- Align development plans to the functional strategic plan to create structure, accountability, responsibility, and focus.
- Member of the factory management group.
- Participating in the development of long-term strategy and roadmaps in the areas of responsibility.
- Building and leveraging relationships and networks across the organization and with our suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- MSc or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.
(Extensive experience in the supply chain field can compensate for lack of formal education).
EXPERIENCE :
- Several years of experience from procurement / supply chain.
SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE :
- Strong working knowledge of both operational and strategic supply chain management principles.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent judgement
- ERP Oracle system knowledge
- Languages: English (speaking and written skills), Norwegian (would be beneficial, or desire to learn).
- Leadership skills.
