Job Description
We are looking for Junior Electronic Tester to join our team
What you will work on:
- Perform functional testing of electronics primarily designed for military applications, including self-made products and test equipment.
- Conduct testing of sub-units, such as circuit boards and waveguides, and perform unit tests at different levels.
- Conduct measurements of microwave modules and high-current measurements in power units.
- Troubleshoot electronics down to the component level using advanced instruments and equipment.
- Administer test results and report errors in the designated systems.
- Assist in the maintenance and development of test equipment and test station responsibilities.
- Initiate direct contact with engineering and support teams to address testing-related issues.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team.
- Conduct personal analyses, assessments, and take appropriate measures when necessary.
- Write observation reports and Non-Compliance Reports (NCR) as required.
- Actively contribute to streamlining and improving testing processes.
- Review, correct, and create test instructions as needed.
- Collaborate in production test-related aspects of the development process.
- Provide technical expertise in investigations of deviations.
- Participate in FAAT/FAT (First Article Acceptance Test/Factory Acceptance Test) with end customers.
- Monitor results and ensure follow-up on set goals and defined KPIs.
What you bring:
- High school program with specialization in electronics plus some academic education and/or relevant experience in electronics testing or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both Swedish and English.
- Experience in testing prototypes and series-produced electronic designs with high-quality requirements.
- Knowledge of analog and digital technology, microwave technology/RF, and measurement technology.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Swedish citizenship and the ability to pass a security check are mandatory.
