The Team
The Quality Assurance (QA) team’s purpose is to ensure that the services/software customers receive, consistently meet, or exceed expectations which helps boost Viva Wallet reputation. This is achieved by initially reviewing the project and quality requirements, designing, and executing the required test scenarios, reporting the issues and by improving the SDLC processes. The QA team comprises of three key roles – Test Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer and Software Engineer in Test (SET), and Card Terminal Field Tester.
The Role
As a Lead Card Terminal Field Tester, you will be responsible for leading a team of Card Terminal Field Testers that are located in different European countries and ensure proper functionality, and troubleshooting of Card Terminals at various merchant locations, when assistance is required. You will collaborate effectively with the Card Terminal QA Team, Engineering leads from the Technology Group, and Operators from the Central Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have fundamental understanding of software testing methodologies as well as demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Key responsabilities:
- Leadership and supervision of a team of Card Terminal Field Testers, offering guidance, training, and assistance to ensure efficient troubleshooting and testing operations;
- Create and maintain a set of test cases to be executed by the Card Terminal Field Testers at merchant location;
- Analyse and report on field-based test outcomes, collaborating closely with the Development and QA teams to document and address any issues;
- Participate in the recruitment process.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of working experience in Software Testing;
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams;
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes;
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English;
- Willing to join our Engineering team at Viva Wallet HQ in Marousi, with physical presence.
