Danske Bank’s Performance Management Personal Customers team is part of the CFO Area and is based in Copenhagen, Linköping and Helsinki. The team consists of fifteen people servicing the business units in Denmark, Sweden and Finland on performance and pricing matters. CFO Area has the overall responsibility of ensuring that Danske Bank has a robust financial setup and the ability to carry out well on its business strategy.

We are now looking for a Business Analyst to join Performance Management Personal Customers Finland. Our team analyzes Danske Bank’s financial performance and pricing related to Personal Customers in Finland. You become a part of a performance-driven team with a high commitment to deliver the best customer experience both internally and externally. You will participate actively in continuous performance monitoring and engage in dialogue with the business units. Based on investigating and understanding the underlying performance of Personal Customers Finland, you share your insights about the overall financial performance with senior management. Hence your work has a direct impact on how the business unit is run. Together with the team, you play an important role in ensuring that Danske Bank has essential information to achieve its strategic goals and prepare for the future.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and conduct monthly follow-up while embedding a clear link to rolling forecasting and financial target setting.
  • Do deep dive analysis on performance related topics and take an outside-in perspective on Personal Customers in Finland and the performance relative to peers with the purpose of ensuring financial performance.
  • Present your findings to senior management including the Board of Directors and thereby have a direct impact on how the business unit is run.
  • Drive dialogue and collaboration across the business unit and with other key stakeholders, aiding and supporting them in building effective decision processes with focus on value creation.

We are looking for you who can carry out several tasks at the same time, be flexible at peaks and do your best to deliver high-quality results on deadlines. We hope you to be a structured, motivated and proactive person with a skilled analytical mind-set, who strive working under time pressure. You should be capable to develop your own views on how to improve financial performance but most importantly, you want to make a difference. Besides that, we would like to see you have:

  • Master’s degree e.g. in finance or economics.
  • Experience in business analytics
  • Proficiency in Finnish and in English.
  • Industry knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement.

As this is a role with many stakeholders, your communication and presentation skills need to be solid with the ability to present data-oriented insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
