Responsibilities:
- Be the Key Function Holder for Risk & Compliance for the European entity.
- Take responsibility for creating and executing the annual plan for the Europe Risk & Compliance Team.
- Oversee and ensure timely completion of risk-related tasks and responsibilities throughout the business unit.
- Effectively manage a team in the risk and compliance department, focusing on developing a long-term strategic agenda for risk management, anticipating future needs.
- Ensure a positive risk culture by developing strong training programs that cultivate well-informed risk-taking.
- Be a respected authority whom senior stakeholders within the organization rely on for guidance and an unbiased perspective.
- Keep up to date with the regulatory framework & market dynamics.
- Create, oversee, and enhance regular risk reporting across the organization, providing valuable information to senior executives and the Board for informed decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the insurance market (especially, non-life)
- Previous CRO or Compliance experience (Key Function Holder)
- Recognised by key market players (CAA, ILAC, etc...)
- Proven people management skills
- Fluent in English, any other language is considered an asset
