Job Description: Telecaller for Admissions in an Institute
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our institute as a Telecaller for admissions. As a Telecaller, you will play a crucial role in attracting prospective students and guiding them through the admission process. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate with potential students via phone calls and provide them with relevant information about our institute, programs, and admission requirements. Your ultimate goal will be to convert leads into enrolled students.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct outbound calls to potential students who have shown interest in our institute.
2. Introduce the institute, its programs, and the benefits of studying with us to prospective students.
3. Engage in meaningful conversations with potential students to understand their interests, educational background, and career aspirations.
4. Answer queries related to admission procedures, eligibility criteria, course curriculum, fee structure, scholarships, and any other relevant information.
5. Provide personalized guidance and counseling to prospective students, helping them make informed decisions about their educational journey.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with students in the institute's database or customer relationship management (CRM) system.
7. Follow up with interested students who require additional information or time to make a decision.
8. Collaborate with the admissions team to meet enrollment targets and contribute to the overall growth of the institute.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, market competition, and new programs offered by the institute to effectively communicate value propositions to potential students.
10. Meet individual and team targets for lead conversion and student enrollment.
Requirements:
1. Excellent verbal communication skills, with a pleasant and persuasive phone manner.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish a positive relationship with potential students.
3. Ability to actively listen and understand prospective students' needs and aspirations.
4. Good knowledge of the institute's programs, admission requirements, and educational offerings.
5. Patience and empathy in handling student queries and concerns.
6. Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software or similar tools to manage student interactions and data.
7. Result-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
9. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
10. Previous experience in a telecalling or customer service role is preferred, especially in an educational or admissions setting.
