Studio/Audio Technician wanted in Toronto!
Are you looking for a weekend freelance job that is fun, that provides you with a flexible work schedule, and that allows you to move around and meet new people? My Studio Party has a unique job opportunity waiting for you!
- Most parties take place from Friday to Sunday;
- A party is 60 minutes long. You will be paid for 90 mins at a competitive hourly rate;
- On average 1 to 3 contracts per weekend;
- Candidates must have a vehicle;
- Travel expenses will be paid according to the location of the party;
- Possibility of receiving tips;
- Referral program
- Opportunity to become a franchisee depending on performance.
Here are the work tasks of My Studio Party (MSP) team:
- Mobile studio recording for our Pop Star, Superstar and Teen packages as well as our event packages including photoshoots, vocal warm‐up and on‐site studio recording of a song sung by guests at the party;
- Backdrop and red carpet set-up;
- Taking pictures of the guests;
- The MSP team includes a singer party host and a sound engineer. Sound Engineer must have a car to ensure team mobility with the gear.

- Are you passionate about music with a good work ethic?
- Are you professional and reliable?
- Do you like to take photos/operate a camera?
- Do you have your own professional camera? (not required but a big plus!)
- Do you have good knowledge of operating a home recording studio?
- Do you own your own mobile studio set‐up (laptop/small sound card/diaphragm microphone/mic stand/portable speaker)?
- Do you have a car?
