THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Production Support Specialist, you will serve as the customer contact for questions on usage, functionality and problems encountered with OpenText products and services. You will also manage day-to-day customer relations, escalations, and requirements in relation to training/technical knowledge for those specialists within the same customer grouping. Your strong analytical, troubleshooting skills and communication skills will help you excel as a Production Support Specialist at OpenText.
YOU ARE GREAT AT:
- Providing production monitoring of data, error analysis and serving as the customer contact for questions on usage, functionality and problems encountered with Business Network products and services.
- Having an understanding and interest in expanding your knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies, application functionality, N-tier architecture, relational database architecture, operating systems, and communication protocols.
- Providing technical support responding to case service levels, analysing issues, issue resolution and customer notification.
- Recreating customer issues and escalating to appropriate levels.
- Working cross-functionally in a team environment to deliver quality, satisfaction and resolutions to OpenText customers.
WHAT IT TAKES:
- Previous experience in a Technical Support role
- Good problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment and be proactive with customer issues with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, curious to investigate issues and utilize troubleshooting skills.
- Eager and interested to learn and develop knowledge and skills.
- Dutch or English or French Speaking skills to build relationships with OpenText customers.
- Electronic Data Interchange experience is a plus!
