Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical assistance and support to end users across our cloud environments and local offices. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience working with Office applications and possess a solid understanding of printer troubleshooting, workstation troubleshooting, and basic IT support skills. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve end user technical issues promptly and professionally via various communication channels (email, chat, phone, etc.)
- Provide troubleshooting and support for printer-related problems, including connectivity, print queue management, and driver issues.
- Assist end users with workstation-related challenges, including hardware and software installations, configurations, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support requests, actions taken, and resolutions provided.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of support processes and documentation.
· Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of experience providing IT support in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of printer troubleshooting, including connectivity, print queue management, and driver issues.
- Familiarity with workstation troubleshooting, hardware installations, software configurations, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Basic understanding of cloud environments, particularly Azure and AWS, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a global team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lift 32lbs or more when needed
- Ability and willingness to help assemble furniture as needed
