Abto Software is looking for a Senior C++/Qt Developer on a freelance part-time basis.
Project Overview
Our project is designed to enhance the mathematical experience for mathematicians, math students, and scientists who want to focus on math instead of programming. Unlike other computer algebra and graphing systems available today, our system does not require a strict syntax language of programming commands and structures. With us, users can spend more time doing math and less time fighting with programming syntax.
Originally written for Macintosh OS7, our desktop application can perform computer algebra, numerical calculations, and graphical rendering into low-level matrix algebra, differential equations, and graphical curve and surface rendering. However, to keep up with the latest technology, we are currently in the process of rewriting our system to use Qt.

Hard skills (Must have):
- At least 5+ years of experience with C++/Qt;
- Understanding of concurrency programming of high-performance applications, OOP;
- Communication skills;
- Level of English: Intermediate or higher.
Responsibilities:
- New feature development;
- Create a QT-WebAssembly connection in the project;
- Communication with the project manager and directly with the client on a regular basis.
