As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for delivering net new and growing existing accounts across the carrier segment of our colocation data center business. The Account Executive has the ability to work on deals applying a consultative and trusted advisor approach; and gets along very well with Marketing and Product teams to provide market-specific information and insights that identify unmet customer needs.
The Account Executive will report to our Head of Sales and will be expected to work effectively with peers, manage goals on a quarterly basis, maintain account plans, hold weekly deal review sessions, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline on the Hubspot CRM in order to meet or exceed annual sales objectives.

What would you be doing?
- Identify, cultivate and close on net-new business as well as manage existing relationships to ensure customer renewals and retention
- Be the key point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of customers.
- Understand our client's goals and help them achieve key business outcomes.
- Build account plans and strategies for each target account.
- Build key accounts into strategic partners, and drive sustaining revenue, market share growth, and product footprint.
- Develop and maintain records of customer activity for reporting sales and forecasts.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and activities in Hubspot CRM.
- Develop accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities and revenue growth.
- Work together with Marketing and Product on creating proposals and solving customer challenges through agile cross-team collaboration.
- Represent MDC in industry shows and conferences.
Technical skills
- Bilingual – English and Spanish required
- Experience in sales/business development capacity
- Demonstrating ability to make thoughtful questions to explore customer needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
