Job Purpose:
Responsible for day-to-day electrical repairs and maintenance and for ensuring that their assigned equipment is maintained to the highest standards and according to the latest specifications. He is aware of the potential risks associated with such maintenance and works in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner. The Electrician accurately reports completed maintenance and failure occurrences.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
§ Inspect, troubleshoot, operate, and maintain electrical systems and equipment on site to the highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.
§ Maintain site generators.
§ Perform all maintenance levels strictly, as per procedure, and according to the defined schedule.
§ Work independently with customers.
§ Complete and maintain records and inspection reports.
§ Ensure compliance with all company quality and health and safety work procedures.
§ Make recommendations to supervisors on requirements for spare parts, test equipment and tools necessary for efficient maintenance.
§ Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
§ Be available and participate in afterhours calls.
Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
§ Bachelor or dipoma in electrical engineering and 3 years' ESP-experience as an Electrician .
§ Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.).
§ Ability to work in professional and ethical manner.
Team oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: KD350.000 - KD450.000 per month
