We are looking for a Storeperson for a local role in Newman.We are looking for a Storeperson for a local role in Newman. Must be a resident of Newman. The role will be Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm plus odd Saturday mornings from 7:00am. Pay rate of $32 per hour plus super.
Job description:
The purpose of this role is to provide functional support across key activities in receive, pick, pack and dispatch goods against the business and supplier documentation, in accordance with company policy and procedure, and complete other warehouse related duties as required.
Your Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Picking, packing and despatch of customer orders (freight management)
- Receiving, labelling and storing of incoming goods
- Conducting sorting, loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and displayed
- Assisting on the trade store counter and general housekeeping duties
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment desirable
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be versatile with a 'can do' attitude
- Forklift licence and experience highly regarded - or willing to obtain
- Valid drivers licence
- Australian working rights
