Job Summary
Our Finance Technology team is seeking a Business Analyst to join the team! As a partner to the Finance and Accounting departments within the organization, this individual will help support our financial planning system with the opportunity to expand into other key areas. Working cross-functionally with Finance, and other areas of IT, this person will gather business requirements to continue to improve upon and grow how technology enables Finance. The person in this role will perform system design, configuration and collaborate with the development team to create forward-thinking, scalable solutions. This individual will participate in application upgrades, analysis and design of new solutions, testing, and production support.
Job Responsibilities
- Primary owner of our Business Spend Management application Coupa. Hands on with a module within our multi-currency ERP application, PeopleSoft FSCM, in the area of Accounts Payable, Billing, or Accounts Receivable.
Assist the FinTech team and/or own supporting our smaller financial applications (Concur, T-Recs, OnBase, IQware, Inntopia, etc.) and various integrations points
Lead the requirements gathering, solution design, test script creation, and ensure thorough SOX-compliant testing adheres to change management life cycle requirements.
Work cross-functionally and develop strong relationships with various areas of the business, developers, DBA’s, and other Business Analysts to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
Proactively work with business partners to understand business challenges and opportunities.
Work on multiple projects, JIRA’s enhancements/defects, and PROD issues, concurrently
Continuously improve Coupa and business processes that support Coupa and PeopleSoft Accounts Payable
Job Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Accounting, Business, Technology or related field
- 3+ years of professional experiencein supporting Coupa Business Spend Management.
- Experience with an ERP system (SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle Cloud) in one the area of Purchasing and Accounts Payable.
- Experience with software implementations or upgrades
- Proactive self-starter with excellent follow-through
- Capable of juggling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously or in a group
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
- Experience writing SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and/or reconciliation
- Experience with Active Batch automation tools is a plus
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $89,100 - $110,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
