Senior DevOps Engineer [NWL_1017257] [Ukraine]

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who will contribute to the growth of an inclusive engineering culture based on DevOps principles and work in an agile environment.

In this position, you will work closely with Back-End and Full Stack Engineers, a Product Owner, a Product Specialist, and an Engineering Manager to drive experimentation, improve infrastructure, and ensure the achievement of company Objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to create a fully automated infrastructure that aligns with DevOps principles and engineering baseline
• Assist the team in driving experimentation and improving the current state of the infrastructure and feature growth
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using deployment automation tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Ensure observability of systems through the implementation of modern practices such as distributed tracing, structured logging, and metrics
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of Kubernetes-based containerized environments
• Work with Linux systems and ensure their efficient operation and maintenance
• Foster an inclusive engineering culture based on DevOps principles
• Provide production support and troubleshoot any infrastructure-related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services and meet project objectives

Requirements

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (GCP)
• Experience deployments automation tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions to build CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of modern observability practices such as distributed tracing, structured logging and metrics
• Want to grow an inclusive engineering culture based on DevOps principles
• Knowledge in building full CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies for continuous development
• Have experience in Kubernetes, containers and Linux
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality services by having experience in designing secure, scalable, and resilient systems in JVM languages on cloud computing platforms
• Have great written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in coding in Java, Kotlin or other JVM languages
• Have experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient systems
