Join our talented and committed team of professionals in the Student Recruitment, Marketing and Outreach Division of Marketing and Communications.
Our team works throughout the student recruitment journey - from generating first awareness of higher education to supporting students as they enrol and make the transition to the university. We engage with prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students in the UK and internationally. Dedicated strands of work support widening participation in Higher Education. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of outreach activities focusing on schools and colleges in Eastbourne and the surrounding East Sussex region. You will also occasionally deliver activities on all of our campuses.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in using databases, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office suite: demonstrable commitment to maintaining and developing skills
- Experience in developing, managing, and delivering events / projects or membership schemes
- Ability to evaluate and report on project impact and return on investment for a range of stakeholders
- Ability to engage with a wide range of audiences in a professional and effective manner
In return, the university offers a generous pension scheme and annual leave package which starts at 25 days as well as additional leave over the Christmas period. As a remote worker, your base will be your home and your travel expenses will be paid. There will be infrequent requirement for you to attend the university campus for meetings.
