MISSIONS:

  • Contribute to the strategic planning process for the Infrastructure market segment;
  • Maintaining client networks, and managing key client relationships across the KSA territory;
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments;
  • Support the business development by identifying, pursuing and capturing strategic opportunities that are crucial to developing the business beyond its current offering;
  • Ensure efficient and profitable project delivery;
  • Ensure financial performance by achieving business plan targets;
  • Championing innovation and demonstrating technical leadership; and
  • Working closely with, and reporting to, the KSA Infrastructure Business Line Director (BLD)on securing new projects and manage performance of a portfolio of projects

Financial Performance

  • Ensure financial performance by achieving business plan targets through winning work, and identifying and implementing operating efficiencies within the Infrastructure market sector.
  • Provide support to the KSA operation in cash collections and working capital management, as appropriate.
  • Review staff utilization and ensure that necessary changes are being implemented to maximize operational efficiency.

Project Delivery

  • Promote and enhance the KSA profile through innovative solutions, thought leadership and active participation with the clients and stakeholders in the project delivery process.
  • Review the project delivery process, and ensure that effective work planning and project control systems are being implemented.
  • Review with the KSA Business Director the technical and financial performance of the Infrastructure sector projects on a regular basis, and ensure that necessary measures are being implemented to ensure profitable performance

Business Development

  • Support strategic business development activities by identifying, pursuing and capturing strategic Infrastructure opportunities that are crucial to developing the KSA business beyond its current offering.
  • Help prepare the KSA Infrastructure strategic plan, in collaboration with the KSA BLD, CEO and COO, and ensure alignment with the overall strategic planning process.

People

  • Support management of resources and redeployment where applicable.
  • Ensure engagement and continuous development of staff within the Infrastructure division
  • Report annually on the performance of staff, in collaboration with the BLD, CEO, COO, and HR.

Personal Development

  • Demonstrate a positive and growth-oriented approach to leadership - building on strengths and provide coaching for direct reports

PROFILE:

  • BSc in Civil Engineering from a reputable university

  • Membership of professional organization (e.g. CEng, MICE, PE or equivalent)

  • Minimum 20 years experience in design and management of infrastructure projects with minimum 8 years in project and business management


HARD SKILLS:

  • In depth technical experience in Infrastructure projects including:
  • Masterplan Infrastructure Design, road/transport design
  • Good Understanding of civil structures design, dry and wet utilities design and full cycle of infrastructure design process
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Experience in projects bidding process
  • Contract administration experience
  • Project commercial management experience

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is highly desirable)
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Client facing
  • Team leadership
  • High ethical values
  • Flexibility to travel within KSA
  • MS Office software experience including Excel, PPT, Word as a minimum
