ABOUT THE TEAM
This role sits within the front office and will be working in a dynamic and research focus environment. You will partner closely with various external clients, internal parties and provide up to date, industry leading research. Your days will be filled analyzing data and building models to assist clients along with supporting a senior analyst. You’ll be able to recognize critical data points, analytical concepts and come to a logical conclusion within the modelling/valuation process.
Job responsibilities:
- Maintenance and updates of earnings models and databases
- Preparation of materials for the regular publication of research reports, including data analysis and presentation
- Contribution to writing of research reports, including company reports and thematic pieces
- Communication with institutional investors and company representatives, as well as internal clients
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Fluency in English and Korean is essential, both oral and written
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency
- Strong analytical, accounting, finance and quantitative skills
- 0-2 years’ experience in Research or a related field
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently with colleagues across J.P. Morgan and external clients
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Passion for the stock market
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed materials, while meeting tight deadlines
- General understanding and knowledge in investment products and investment industry market practices
- Good interpersonal skills and willing to work within the team
