Overview
In this position you will provide financial support to Commercial Lead responsible for Traditional Trade and Away-from-home channels, ensuring revenue targets are met. Effectively partner with Sales teams, and able to translate finance language to non-finance, offer guidance on promotional spend, commercial negotiation, while working on budget optimization and apply ROI model to further expand our Traditional trade and AFH market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and attention to details, being able to work comfortably with numbers and gain insights from them.
Responsibilities

Own and have a deep understanding of the end-to-end month-end process for respective channels in relation to comercial discounts & allowances, including accrual estimate, P&L and Balance sheet understanding

- Provide insights on the main drivers of Net revenue cause of change and present to Sales Finance Manager & Commercial team
- Identify discounts & allowances trends, risks and opportunities and provide deep competitive analysis and actions to deliver profitability
- Maintain a regular communication with the Sales and Trade Marketing teams related to the budget spend and deviations vs plan; Communicate monthly Promo calendars and spend reconciliation
- Develop analytical reports to enabling tracking and full visibility of the monthly Discounts and Allowances spending(vs. Plan/LY) and analyze promo spent & discounts, providing key drivers and potential trade-offs in order to reach to target
- Act as a Business partner to build & present channel P&L to main stakeholders, creating awareness on full P&L performance at channel level partnering with teams internal and external to Finance to understand key drivers
- Calculate the financial impact for ad-hoc projects/activities (promotions, additional bonuses, contractual terms)
Qualifications
Experience Required
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and proven commercial & analytics experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, at least 3 years
- Studies: University Degree
- English: Advanced level;
- PC skills: Literacy with MS Office.
