Danone is looking for a passionate talent based in Cairo, Egypt, to join the One DBS team as Tax & Reporting Manager, within the MENA Specialized Nutrition region.
Objectives of the Role:
- Deliver a required tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Manage tax filing and tax compliance process.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
- Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
- Ensure the delivery of compliant management and statutory accounts on time and in full for all entities in scope
- Provide all accounting information necessary for local regulations (i.e. tax and legal requirements…)
- Developing strong competencies to ensure excellence in execution and service level
- Ensure the compliance of all financial reporting with the accounting records and with the reporting rules (management and statutory)
- Ensure that all financial reporting is submitted on time and in full (management and statutory)
- Report all accounting information necessary for local regulations (i.e. tax and legal requirements…)
- Act as key point of contact for all financial reporting queries.
- Ensure that strong financial processes are in place to manage fixed assets.
- Ensure that fixed assets exist and are properly valued in the balance sheet (compliance with Group and statutory rules).
- Act as Key Point of Contact for the CBU capex controllers, the operations (logistics & industrial teams) and the IS team.
- Ensure all CBUs in the cluster have an efficient and compliant insurance management in line with Group Insurance rules and cluster GS recommendations.
- Contribute to value creation initiatives (maximize reimbursements, cost avoidance / cost optimization)
- Ensure systematic control of insurance clauses included in any contractual agreement with third parties are organized within the cluster.
- Take active part in IS related projects and other functional and cross-functional projects within scope.
To be successful in the role you should ideally have:
Bachelor and Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Multi-national company as Financial Manager (E)
- Mastering SAP FI module (E)
- University degree in Accounting/Finance (E)
- Tax and General Ledger Accounting experience (E)
- Competency in use of Microsoft Office especially Excel (E)
- Based in Cairo, Egypt
Languages:
- Fluent in Arabic and English
