Job Position: Senior Human Resources Manager
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor staff in the delivery of HR business operations.
- Consult with management in providing day to day HR guidance and services and give feedback to Group HR.
- Maintain integrity of HR data for employees’ records in accordance with company’s policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Provide support during performance review process on a yearly basis.
- Issuance of query, termination, and conflict management in accordance with labour law and employee handbook.
- Respond to Employee’s complaint as quick as possible, investigate complaint and present findings to the concerned authority.
- Implementation of policies and procedures regarding HR & Admin Operations at locations as directed.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations as well as conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
- Liaise with government agencies and organizations (SON, NSITF, ITF & PENCOM etc) on all compliance related issues.
- Track staff movement, attrition and vacancies and report.
- Supervise the administration of work attendance for payroll input.
- To ensure Job Description of all the divisions and locations are updated.
- Provide accurate statistics and records for HR Operations.
- Bio-metric attendance capturing on a daily basis, which will be used as payroll input.
- Staff Confirmation as per the category of employees.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's Degree would be a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles, with a focus on performance evaluation and HR best practices.
- Solid understanding of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- CIPM certification would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing HR and administrative teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient and highly experienced with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suites.
