Job Overview
The key responsibility for this position would be to handle the international admissions by processing applications and guiding high-quality students to join UBIS. Candidates assume responsibility for day-to-day coordination of admissions activities for prospects assigned through marketing efforts.
Essential Functions
- Active involvement in the development, planning, preparation and undertaking of established admissions strategies for Bachelor, Master and Doctorate programs
- Communicate accordingly with potential prospects for all programs ensuring that messages are reflective of prospective student information needs.
- Provide the necessary support for prospects ensuring a customer service leading to generate increased levels of profitable business.
- Acquire referrals from enrollees and current students
- Responsible for daily follow up, nurturing and conversion of leads from inbound marketing campaigns including phone and or Zoom conversations, emails, text messages
- Complete all enrollment paperwork, review students’ applications for eligibility
- Follow-up with newly enrolled students to ensure they attend orientation, start class, and post assignments to meet start criteria
- Attend and participate in mandatory Admissions training weekly and individual pipeline meetings.
- Regular updates and tracking of admissions activities in the CRM system.
- May be required to attend recruitment fairs.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Training and development of new Global Admissions Representatives in the areas of Visa process/referral training/lead follow-up and best practices. Effectively trains new staff and provides motivation to achieve and maintain a high level of productivity and moral.
- Geneva Campus Representative for tours, orientation, campus visits, student services liaison for admission, campus events.
- Ensures that morale of Admissions personnel is positive and provides for a viable organization in order to meet its commitments.
- Geneva Campus Representative for agent meetings and also some partner engagements.
- Team lead when directors are out of the office, eventually to develop into a leadership role for a European team.
- Provides training, support, and feedback for new hires at the Geneva Campus as needed.
- Adheres to laws and regulations governing student recruitment activities as well as the Institutions Student Recruitment Personnel Pledge.
Competencies and Qualifications
- Passionate about international business studies
- Near-native fluency in English (written and spoken) - Any additional languages are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in the International Admissions / Student Recruitment field or related
- Excellent communication skills (writing, listening, reading, speaking and presentation)
- Ability to work independently and report to a superior based remotely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and open-minded, with the ability to show initiative, be flexible, and find solutions
- Quick learner & Ability to prioritize a demanding workload in a pressurized environment

- Standard full time work schedule consisting of five eight-hour days and 40 hours each workweek
Additional Daily/Weekly Metrics:
- Calls
- 100 effective calls/day to leads
- 500 effective calls/week to leads
- Emails
- 50 emails/day to leads until HubSpot CRM is introduced. 40 emails/day to leads from HubSpot setup onwards.
- 250 emails/week to leads (in case the 30-40 mails/day are not met per day as an exception)
