Our team is looking for a new talent (m/f/d), starting at the earliest possible time as Quality Control Technician / Engineer (m/f/d) in Hosingen, Luxembourg.
How you’ll add value
We are looking for a Quality Control Technician / Engineer (m/f/d), who carries out quality assurance measures to purchased parts and applicable services across process steps to ensure product’s quality according to standards.
What you’ll do
- Release of new purchased products according to internal procedures
- Conduct incoming inspections on purchased products according to internal procedures
- Perform measurements using schematic drawings and measurement tools
- Evaluating and determining adequate measurement techniques and visual acceptance criteria of purchased products and services
- Analyse defective parts and create analysis reports
- Manage and document supplier claims upon its resolution
- Manage and perform containment and rework activities for purchased products
- Support on improvement and optimization of procedures to enhance supplier processes efficiency
- Participate on daily dialogue meetings for purchased products
- Initiate and maintain continuous improvement solutions based on quality data, production inputs and customer feedback
- Assist/conduct problem solving and implementation of corrective actions with cross functional teams
- Participate/conduct supplier audits and visits
What you’ll bring
- Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Technician diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production and quality environment with high quality standards
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to plan and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions and support on regular report assignments
- Quality and timely decision making
- Effective listening, information sharing, results oriented demonstrating effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
- Robust analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Safety, integrity, and trust conscious
- Respect of company rules
- Understanding of schematic drawings and production documentation
- Knowledge of statistics theory and principles (Lean 6sigma, SPC, etc.)
- Proficient in the use MS Office 365
- Experience on ERP systems
- Proficient in problem-solving tools (8D methodology, fishbone diagram, pareto, gate chart, etc.)
- Fluent of English and German or French languages, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German/French is an asset.
