About the role
This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact on the lives of our residents. Personal Care Workers work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care. Calvary St Martin De Porres is located in Waratah NSW only a 15 minute drive from the beautiful Newcastle beaches and coast line.
Your main duties will include:
Providing exceptional care services to the residents of this home.
Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver those exceptional services.
Ensure Residents care needs are met in line with their personal choices
About you
Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality (Desirable)
