GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a friendly and hardworking individual to help a busy couple with full housekeeping and meal preparation duties, as well as some childcare (feeding, clothing and daycare drop-off) in their small downtown Toronto condominium, Mondays-Fridays. We are flexible on how many hours worked per day, but the applicant would need to begin each day at 8am and be extremely punctual and reliable. Vehicle is not needed (daycare is 2 minute walk away). Looking for applicant able to start right away. Couple has 1 small dog and a 3 year old daughter (no special needs). Opportunity to work extra hours from time to time - on nights and weekends for extra pay, if desired.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-daily cleaning and maintenance of home to the highest standards
-maintaining a grocery list
-daily meal preparation of most meals
-laundry, ironing, changing sheets and towels
-once a week cleaning of small office space (within 5 minute walk)
- daily feeding, clothing and drop-off of our daughter to daycare (2 min walk) and possible light child care assistance from time to time if needed.
-assistance from time to time with running errands (such as going to pharmacy, dry-cleaning pick-up/drop-off, etc) all within 1-15 minute walk
MUST HAVES FOR APPLICANT:
-must like children and small dogs
-must be friendly, outgoing, able to communicate clearly in English
-able to walk short distances - there is no driving involved, but walking is involved - all walking within 5 -15 minute walk of home.
-preference that applicant live in the City of Toronto or relatively close by
