Job Summary:
As a member of the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk team, you will work as part of the Country Compliance team that gives advice to internal stakeholders on the impact of regulatory requirements to the corporate group. You’ll also provide input on, and support regulatory change and engagement, policies and education, monitoring, reporting and governance of compliance risks, operational processes, risk mitigation and control. The work is varied and time critical.
Job Responsibilities:
The key roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Give advice to internal stakeholders and develop frameworks on regulatory requirements, Compliance policies, risk mitigation and controls and new business initiatives.
- Provide input on regulatory change and issues.
- Interact with key stakeholders and regulators on our Compliance program.
- Preparation and delivery of Compliance training and drafting and managing Compliance monitoring tasks and reporting.
- Coordination with line of business compliance groups as well as other corporate control functions such as business management, controls, audit, tax and finance as required.
- Assist in the design, development, implementation and ongoing operation of the Compliance program.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

- A tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce or a related discipline preferred.
- You will be degree qualified and have at least 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient with laws and regulations applicable to the financial services industry in Australia and New Zealand.
- You’ll need to have strong attention to detail and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- We’re looking for independent, analytical thinkers who can quickly adapt to new situations and be able to synthesise information to provide advice to firm’s businesses. You should be familiar with all key information technologies.
