Job Description
Your new role
As a Claims Engagement Representative, you will be trusted with the responsibilities of triaging the initial claim consultations for customers and their representatives, laying the foundation for a seamless and supportive claims journey. You will provide tailored and continuous customer engagement, predominately via phone which may involve a degree of complexity, including legislative, sensitive and medical information.
With resilience, empathy, and compassion, you will provide assistance to customers navigating challenging or sensitive circumstances. By meeting business requirements within established timeframes, you will play a vital role in maintaining consistent deadlines within the team.

What you need to excel
- Previous experience in customer service, claims processing, or related fields is advantageous
- Administration skills and ability to maintain accurate record keeping practices
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate to a range of audiences and stakeholders
- Self-motivated attitude with a focus on high-quality work delivered in a timely fashion
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
- Professional, customer focused and willing to contribute to a positive business culture
- Self-motivated attitude with a resilient nature and ability to adapt to change
