To ensure that the staff planning process delivers to the needs of the Market Central Distribution Center (MCDC) by continuously seeking and coordinating business opportunities through optimized staff planning.
- You are analytical, with a technical mind and ideally have a financial/accountancy background with a keen eye for numbers and financial reporting. It is essential that you are fully proficient in Microsoft Excel or Power BI or have relevant programming skills.
- You have a university degree or basic commercial training with advanced knowledge in data analysis.
- You have proven analytical skills combined with an ability to communicate figures in an understandable and inspiring way.
- You are able to communicate confidently and clearly in English, German is a plus.
- You are process driven and result oriented.
- You have a good personal discipline and an ability to work within set deadlines.
- You have strong analytical skills
- You are willing to work from Mondays to Fridays (home office possibilities are provided)
Your responsibilities
- Reporting to the Business Navigator on financial, numerical and statistical data relating to all aspects of the business.
- Closely analyzing productivities and other KPI’s and securing that all needed reports are available.
- Prioretizing readymade reports and train users how to use them and interpret them.
- Using the understanding of how information is applied today, to determine the future needs of reporting.
- Following part of the Profit & Loss (P&L), understand the connections with the unit operation and provides relevant analysis and proposal in order to improve the performance of the unit.
- Using close the gap to identify opportunities and suggest improvement linked to benchmarks KPIs from proven solutions and good examples.
- Following the development of the results and supports the BNO (Business Navigation Operations) manager in the forecasting process.
- Supporting BNO manager in the financial business plan process in the unit.
- Supporting the unit´s managers in building proper analysis and ROI calculation for any planned investments.
- Challenging existing ways of working with the goal of operating in a quicker, leaner and simpler way.
