Job title: Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay rate: £85 a day
Pathway Education is working with an “Outstanding” partner SEND school in Sittingbourne, Kent. They require a teaching assistant to support pupils with profound, severe, and complex learning support needs (PMLD and Autism) The role will require supporting pupils academically, physically and socially.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous school experience or someone looking to get experience as a teaching assistant if your background is from another sector. The school is looking for a confident, patient, nurturing, and resilient teaching assistant that can work well with pupils in small groups and 1:1. There are excellent career progression opportunities at the school for outstanding candidates. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 8.45am am-4 pm.

Suitable Teaching assistant Candidates:
· Will have previous experience working with SEND or with young people (A background in Education, Care, Sports coaching, Social Work, Psychology or Drama is also suitable)
· Will be a good communicator, resilient, patient, team player with a good sense of humour
· Can work Monday to Friday (8.45am – 4pm)
