In the position of Production Material Handler‐Empty Can you will ‐‐ Support the production process with receiving empty cans, loading production line with materials, line relief, and removal of dunnage/waste material.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure the quantity, accuracy, and timing of supplies handled by the receiver to and from production line to avoid food safety issues, production downtime, or material loss. Guard production related supplies and byproducts are properly handled.
- Plan and stage future production needs with raw materials. Evaluate materials stocked and inventoried are adequate to prevent downtime for replenishment.
- Remove, put away, and document inventory of materials at a change over such as trays, ends, 4 pack carriers, and remaining cans from the previous run.
- Unload trucks and put materials away as they are unloaded. Inspect the trailer, cans, and pallets received for can integrity, cleanliness, and defects. Validate goods received match documents, schedule, all in order.
Pay Range: $16.90/hr - $19.90/hr
