About the Commercial Logistics Manager Role:

This is a newly created position within the organisation, reflecting the company's commitment to expanding its operations and strengthening its customer relationships in the Laem Chabang region. As the Commercial Logistics Manager, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and success by managing and developing key accounts, ensuring strategic alignment with customer needs, and contributing to the overall sales strategy. This role offers a competitive base salary with attractive allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gaining an in-depth understanding of the customers' businesses and identifying potential commercial opportunities within the region
  • Collaborating with the Head of Key Account Management, Thailand, to develop and implement sales strategies for the key accounts managed. This includes defining business development targets, objectives, and key results (OKRs), as well as budgeting and establishing KPIs
  • Cultivating, managing, and strengthening relationships with key BCOs to achieve the established OKRs and KPIs.
  • Monitoring the performance of strategic plans, assessing achievements, risks, and opportunities, and devising action plans to address them effectively
  • Contributing to the formulation and execution of DP World's overall sales strategy for the region, with a focus on enhancing the company's profit and loss (P&L) position
  • Managing relationships across the logistics value chain, collaborating closely with agents, shippers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Business Administration, Shipping/Logistics Management, or related fields
  • A minimum of six years' experience in sales or account management, particularly with a freight forwarding/logistics company
  • Demonstrated experience in freight forwarding sales, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry
  • Previous experience in a customer-centric environment, with exposure to Agile methodologies being an advantage
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining high-quality, long-term relationships with BCOs
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
