We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Team Lead Northern Continent (Netherlands, Belgium and Germany) to join us.

Context:
We are a “Dream Team” of 20+ in-house Talent Acquisition professionals across Europe. Everyone brings their own flavour to the team, but we all strive towards the same objective: ‘Providing best in class recruitment services and supporting Air Products in maintaining and growing the overall workforce with a strong focus on Diversity & Inclusion as well as ensuring we hire for long term sustainable relationships.’

In this position you can be located in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany where you can work from any of our offices (Rotterdam-Botlek, The Hague, Diegem, Hattingen) in combination with working from home.

As our Talent Acquisition Team Leader, your role will be operational and managerial. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Work with the hiring managers to fulfil their resourcing requirements, taking in to account diversity and inclusion and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Balance recruiting on a portfolio of vacancies end to end with leading operations and communication across the given business area; keep within and motivate the team to keep within targets of all KPI’s: time to accept, agency hire ratios, customer satisfaction and cost per hire.
  • Coach and challenge business leaders in the Talent Acquisition area
  • Meet with business leaders to regularly discuss their hiring progress, proactively identify risk and put contingency plans in place
  • Provide marketplace data and insight to support organizational decision making and hiring strategies
  • Be able to deliver on senior and hard to fill roles
  • Conduct thorough direct searches and market mapping
  • Manage executive searches at senior organizational levels
  • Strategically build strong talent pipelines
  • Develop the hiring manager maturity model, particularly in the areas of leadership assessment
  • Provide insightful and accurate, data driven reporting and executive summaries to business stakeholders and HR
  • Coach and support Talent Acquisitions Specialists and be the main point of contact for recruitment activities in the region
  • Partner on mergers and acquisitions and new projects, creating and overseeing resourcing plans
  • Monitor the local legislations and review the internal processes
  • Promote Air Products as an Employer of Choice throughout all stages of the recruitment process

Your profile:
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium
  • Experience with recruitment in a similar industry to ours is beneficial
  • Ability to present and deliver meaningful, accurate recruitment data and updates (weekly/monthly and ad-hoc)
  • Presence - ability to represent the company, command respect, interact with, influence and challenge peers / senior executives
  • Proven full cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house (agency experience will be a bonus)
  • Can do, positive attitude
  • Collaborative approach and cultural sensitivity
  • An energetic and engaging approach
  • Team Leadership and coaching ability
  • Ability to work and deliver at pace
  • Experience of delivering on multi hire resourcing plans across diverse geographies
  • Experience of recruiting within senior technical/ engineering functions
  • Strong customer service mindset, yet the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Proactive approach with an ability to react quickly to changing priorities
  • Fluency in English and Dutch (any of the other languages are beneficial)
