Overview:

Audacy San Francisco is looking for an On Air Personality for Live 105! (KITS). Join the team! The legendary Live 105 has returned to the airwaves after an extended hiatus and now needs a top notch air staff to connect passionate music fans with the music and artists they love, while keeping listeners connected to the Bay Area.

Are you an entertaining, efficient, communicator with a deep understanding of Alternative music (all eras!) and those who love it. Do you have a successful track record of securing high ratings in a prime daypart? Do you have a proven track record of extending your on-air brand to social media, while helping grow the radio station’s social brand? Are you able to conduct entertaining and informative interviews with major and developing artists? Are you able to connect with clients and serve as an effective endorser for a wide range of products and services? Are you excited about the opportunity of extending your brand via voice tracking to sister stations in other markets?

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

• 
  Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
• Protect the station’s FCC license
• Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
• Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
• Operate the control board and perform production work
• Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Some experience assembling content using digital audio/video editing platforms is required, along with expertise in social media and a firm grasp of current events and societal trends as it pertains the station’s target audience of Alternative music fans.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40lbs.
• A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

Additional Information:

Pay Transparency: The anticipated starting salary range for California based individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
