Join our Finance team as a Billing Specialist and play a vital role in managing incoming billing queries and ensuring accurate invoicing. You will be responsible for handling customer churn requests, completing pay-off summaries, maintaining customer billing contracts, and processing support cases. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in maintaining high standards and timely communication. - Process customer churn requests: Manage customer churn requests, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate billing adjustments.
- Complete pay-off requests/contract summaries: Generate complete and accurate contract pay-off summaries for customers.
- Compile and coordinate credit memos: Compile and coordinate customer credit memos, following appropriate approval pathways.
- Manage customer billing contracts: Update and maintain customer billing contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process manual billing documentation: Manage and complete manual billing documentation, including associated supporting data.
- Handle support cases: Manage and process support cases related to customer billing, providing timely resolution and support to internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with CSS, AR, Sales Admin, and other teams to deliver efficient and effective billing services.
- Promote positive teamwork: Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, communicate project information, and contribute to collaborative team discussions.
- Proactive problem-solving: Proactively identify and solve problems, leveraging information from various sources.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience working with SAP is essential.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is advantageous.
- Passion for customer service and building relationships.
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ownership mentality with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals in a non-confrontational manner, building successful working relationships.
- Working knowledge of GPS and fleet management technology is a plus, but not necessary.
